Katie Paige – Author, Researcher, and Investigator of High Strangeness

Katie Paige is a Colorado-based researcher, investigator, and author specializing in UFOs, anomalous phenomena, cryptids, and high strangeness, with a primary focus on the Rocky Mountain region. She is the director of Rocky Mountain Ranch Research, where she leads ongoing investigations at the historic property known in APRO case files as Clearview Ranch. The site is recognized as one of the most active and well-documented anomalous locations in the United States, with a history of activity that predates the Skinwalker Ranch case by more than a decade, including UFO encounters, cattle mutilations, unexplained aerial phenomena, and cryptid sightings.

Founder, Rocky Mountain Ranch Research (2022–Present), Colorado. Focused on anomalous phenomena associated with the Clearview Rocky Mountain Ranch, integrating environmental study, witness documentation, and historical analysis. RMRR regularly travels to primary-source repositories to support ongoing research, including the American Heritage Center (Wyoming), the National UFO Historical Records Center (New Mexico), and the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Archives (Kansas).

Her connection to the phenomenon is not only investigative but deeply personal. During her childhood years associated with the ranch, Paige was enrolled for over a year, at approximately age 10–11, in a neurofeedback and accelerated learning program in the Denver Tech Center connected to work developed by Dr. Thomas H. Budzynski, a pioneer in biofeedback and creator of the “Twilight Learner” system. This experience placed her at the intersection of emerging consciousness research and applied neurotechnology at a time when similar work was being explored within military and intelligence-adjacent environments. While Budzynski’s contributions to biofeedback are well documented, the broader context of Cold War-era research, including links to classified or compartmentalized programs and initiatives such as MKUltra, remains only partially understood. Paige approaches this subject with a focus on documented history while acknowledging the possibility that some research may have extended beyond publicly known boundaries.

Paige joined the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in 2012 and has served in multiple investigative and leadership roles, including STAR Team Investigator, Special Assignment Team (SAT) member, Assistant State Director for Colorado, and Colorado State Director from 2020 to 2023. She also played a key role in the preservation and organization of MUFON’s historical archives through her work with the MUFON Anomaly Research and Reporting System (MARRS), part of Project Aquarius, where she served as Administrator and Team Lead.

Her work has been featured across major television networks and documentary platforms, including History Channel’s Beyond Skinwalker Ranch, The UnXplained with William Shatner, Travel Channel’s UFO Witness, Gaia’s Beyond Belief with George Noory, and Small Town Monsters productions such as On the Trail of UFOs: Night Visitors and UFOs Revisited. She appears in Ron James’s documentary Accidental Truth and is also featured in the upcoming sequel Accidental Truth: Next. She has been featured on national radio and podcasts, including Coast to Coast AM with George Knapp and Chinwag with Paul Giamatti, and is a presenter at major conferences such as Contact in the Desert.

Paige is the host of The Trifecta — “Where UFOs, Paranormal, and Cryptids Collide” — and co-host of the UAP Studies Podcast, where she brings together leading voices in the field to explore the boundaries of science, consciousness, and unexplained phenomena.

She is the author of Letters of Love & Light: Four Decades of UFO Encounters, Experiences & Sightings Shared with Ufologist R. Leo Sprinkle, Ph.D., and co-author of Snippy the Horse: UFOs, Mutilations, and the Cover-Up That Started It All — Colorado’s 1967 Case That Sparked a Global Mystery. She is currently completing her third book, The Rocky Mountain Ranch: Crafts, Cattle, Cryptids, and Cover-Ups.

Paige holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication and is also the owner of Photos to Video Tributes, a memorial and legacy media service. Through her writing, media appearances, and investigative work, she continues to bridge the gap between experiencers, researchers, and the public, encouraging informed, grounded dialogue around phenomena that challenge conventional understanding.

It’s always been there, just out of reach, almost tangible!

We all have memories buried deep within our minds. Some we remember with great clarity, while others remain aloof and vague.

Most experiences in our lives are ordinary, and easily forgotten. Some are traumatic and painful, so we choose to forget. Others are extraordinary; they remain as blurry bits of fragmented pieces, and we question whether these remarkable events ever happened at all.

They remain dormant until the time comes when we’re ready to journey back into the depths of our memories. We look for proof, any shred of evidence that validates that what we experienced was real.

What often occurs is that we find ourselves searching for the missing pieces of this incredibly complex, multidimensional puzzle. This quest often leads to some rather unexpected experiences, knowledge, and—if we’re lucky—some rather fascinating people along the way.

Welcome to my site.
